I’m Ken Hines, a 79-year-old author who grew up in McFarland, California, and spent nearly twenty-six years in the military traveling the world and collecting stories. A visit to the Great Pyramids in 1987 sparked a vivid vision that became The Novum Chronicles, and since then my books have come from a mix of careful research, conversations with veterans and experts, and ideas that sometimes arrive in dreams. I write historical and geopolitical fiction (including Iron Reprieve), oversee the audio productions, and shape narration and pacing so the spoken book sounds like the story I hear in my head.
